Frequently Asked Questions

Do Designated Drivers (DD's) get free or reduced cost tickets to the Festival?

We will have a reduced rate ticket of $10 for designated drivers. These will be available at the door for all 3 sessions.

What is the difference between the Evening Festival Sessions and the Afternoon Connoisseur Session?

The Connoisseur’s Session at the Alaska Craft Brew and Barley Wine Festival is your chance to try some truly unique beers and barleywines. During this session you’ll sample rare, limited production and specialty brews from some of the best breweries around. Highlighted are specialty beers from AK craft brewers and the competitors from the annual barleywine competition including the winners. This session is capped in attendance for a smaller setting. Proceeds from this session benefit the Brewers Guild of Alaska, The Lions Club, and American Diabetes Association.

What happens if I can't make it to the event?

Tickets are non-refundable, but ticket holders may transfer their tickets to anyone who is 21+ in the United States or 18+ in the UK. Simply print out the ticket and hand it to the person of your choice, or email it to them!
